Product recall: Anesketin 100mg/ml 5ml Solution for injection

Dechra is taking the action of recalling the following, shown in the table below.

The reason for the recall is due to potential leakage from the vials due to a discrepancy in processing settings.

Actions Required

• Please examine your inventory and immediately quarantine any products identified in the table above.
• Please perform an inventory count against each product and record this on the returns form, this should include part used product. Returns form can be found HERE.
• Please return any of the affected batches along with the returns form which must have all sections completed so we may issue your credit. 
• If possible, please secure the controlled drugs in a separate box or bag, and instruct your driver that this is the recall stock.
• We advise you to keep a copy (scan/photo) of the returns form for your controlled drugs register.
• If you have no stock on site, please forward response to regulatory@mwiah.co.uk  
• The close date for returns/credit is Monday 15th April 2024
