Product recall: Purevax

Due to the potential presence of microcracks at the neck of some vials, Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK Limited is taking the action of recalling the following products:

Due to the potential presence of microcracks at the neck of some vials, Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health UK Limited is taking the action of recalling certain batches of Purevax RCP FeLV lyophilizate, and Purevax RCP lyophilizate. For more information, please click HERE.

MWI have notified all customers who have received an affected batch. If you have product, please follow the instructions below and return to MWI Animal Health UK for a credit, which will be applied at the end of the recall process.

Broached (part used) product will not be accepted.

Actions Required

• Please examine your inventory and immediately quarantine any products identified in the table above.
• Fully complete the returns form, which can be found HERE.
• Please bag/box the recall stock and mark it so it is clearly identifiable as recall stock.
• Hand the recall stock to your driver on your next delivery instructing this is for recall purposes.
• If you require more stock please order via your usual method.
• The close date for returns/credit is Friday 3rd May 2024
